18th Sept 2012 - Sunrise under The Iron Bridge. The world's first cast iron arch bridge. Built 1775-1779 spanning the river Severn in the aptly named Ironbridge in Shropshire. The beams were cast by Abraham Derby III in his foundry in Coalbrookdale about a mile up the road.
I couldn't decide between this view and cropping in closer to just have the geometry of the beams. I like the framing of the cottages and boats in this composition though.
